"Runway Make-up" Nolan Robert of Blush:
Nolan Robert, who won the Lifetime network’s reality competition Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist, worked for M.A.C. as an artist and trainer prior to his win. Robert has worked on such celebrities as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Liv Tyler and Carmen Electra. Nolan Robert focused on the current trends for fall. He discussed what make-up looks work on the runway and created a high-fashion make-up look, within 10 to 15 minutes.

Beauty/ Fantasy Student Competition Awards Show:
This year’s beauty / fantasy competition theme was Gothic, referring to the gothic beauty palettes that appeared in recent runway shows (the emphasis was on creating a pretty, rather than scary, gothic look). The beauty / fantasy competition took place on Saturday.

Character/ Prosthetic Student Competition Awards Show:
The character / prosthetic competition theme, X-Men Mutants, paid tribute to Mike Elizalde, a London IMATS keynote speaker and a Los Angeles-based make-up designer who worked on X-Men: The Last Stand. The character / prosthetic competition took place on Sunday and dealt with prosthetic applications and bald caps.
