People Helping People Fest
A large gathering of non-profit groups will come together in Costa Mesa, CA., at the 8th Annual People Helping People Fest to stimulate community engagement through volunteerism. The American Red Cross, Collette’s Children’s Home, Creative Identities, Greyhound Rescue of America, Laura’s House, Mercy House, Orange County Interfaith Shelter, and WKOCI Radio Station were just a few of last year’s featured agencies.
This day is provided free to all non-profit agencies and to all visitors who come to volunteer.

L.A. Flea Market at World Famous Dodger Stadium
New Flea Market Introduces V.I.P. Concept, Gourmet Dining and Live Entertainment to the Classic Bargain Shopping Experience.
L.A.’s landmark Dodger Stadium will hold a festive grand opening of the L. A. Flea Market. With high-end, hand-selected vendors, an iconic venue with great views of Downtown Los Angeles, plenty of free parking and exceptional services provided for shoppers.
The L.A. Flea Market will kick off in true celebrity style with the first annual Hollywood Yard Sale, hosted by radio legend Rick Dees. In addition to the most high-end treasures the Salvation Army has to offer, clothes and jewelry donated by stars such as Jay Leno, Michael Jordan, Larry Byrd, Luc Robitaille and Tim Allen will be up for sale.

It will include an Entertainment Stage that features a variety of programs including the JC Penney Fashion Show. The Cultural Pavilion will be presenting several exhibits offering a glimpse into Chinese culture and tradition, including the giveaway of one thousand red envelopes. For children, several special areas will be provided for hands-on arts and crafts. Attendees can enter the karaoke singing contest to display their talent for a chance to win prizes.
